Number 13

Playing to few hands. This is actually very fundamental, but it is cruscial to spend a lot of time playing poker, if you want to develope your game. It is not enough to read books or discuss on online forums.

Number 12

Playing different limits instead of just one. It creates a better dynamic in the game if you are able to play more limits. You can play higher those days when you are playing your best, and go down in limit when you are feeling tired or tilted. To miss the opportunity to steal dead money from tight players in the blinds, and to call players in position who opens way to light and c-bets to much without following up on turn.

Trying to win to many hands without a showdown. It is in general more difficult to bluff bad players, who often calls with marginal hands. Instead focus on value, and value bet thinly and catch bluffs.

Thinking to much about decisions. It is a good thing to think about what kind of decision to make, but firstly you must be able to figure out what level your opponent is at. There is no reason for to create a masterbluff if your opponent has no idea waht you represent

Too static bet-sizing. Versus bad players who don’t understand what different betsizes means you should be able to adjust your bets so they fit your hands better.

To small a personal poker network. Most pokerplayers that has become good in the game of poker has in one way or the other used a group of friends with the same interest, where they were able to share information and create new knowledge together.

Playing to many hands out of position. Position is extremely important in poker.

c-betting without having a plan for the rest of the streets. Be aware and prepared to what turn and river cards you are willing to second or third barrel, and be ready to give up when your hand has to little potential.

Focusing only at your own cards. A lot of players on the lower limits focuses waý to much on their own cards and fails to use the right amount of energy on figuring out what the opponents hand is and instead act accordingly.

Calling to many 3-bets. It can be hard to fold when your are facing 3-bets, when you normally would raise preflop with a good hand. But with approximately 100 big blinds implied odds are not good calling with marginal holdings (which where 100% legitimate opening hands). And never setmine versus 3-bets – at least not twoways!

Number 2

Tilting. It is essentiel to have a plan for how you would discover and handle tilt in your game – or else it is gonna cost!

Number 1

No table-selection. Play versus players hwere you have already found specific leaks and where you have a plan on how to exploit those leaks. This is so much better than playing versus a player where you just have noted ‘fish’ or ‘donk’.
