The greatest free amateur poker event in the world has so far been an european event. The event was just known as EPEC – which is short for the Everest Poker European Cup. In this amateur poker cup you could qualify through freerolls to a $ 100.000 live event with up to 200 players from around Europe joining the tables in some exotic poker site typically on a beach resort in places like Gran Canaria or at the Algarve beach in Portugal – with flight and spendings paid and a room in a 5 stars hotel. The Everest Poker European Cup has so been the best promotion ever made for freerollers and other amateur players. This year and this month EPEC is going EPIC.

Everest has always been one of the best Poker Sites in the world when it came to entering new markets. They were the first real poker site in Germany, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. We know now that they are progressing in Brazil and Japan. And as they have decided to widen the Everest Poker European Cup to an international freeroll we know for certain that both Brazil and Japan will be included here.
